Sunday Morning Weigh-In, The Mayans are clueless edition!
Hi Gents!
My Stats:
High weight: 296
Weight at initial consult 1-19-2012: 269
Weight at surgery 4-23-12: 230
Last week: 174
This week: 174
Total weight lost: 95
Body Fat 14%
So, the world didn't end huh? Hopefully nobody said "F- it" and binged thinking it would be OK to end the world a few pounds heavier! I think the Mayans simply ran out of paper or couldn't find the pencil sharpener... it's not like they had Office Max back then or anything... :-)
Holding steady at my all time low weight this week. Did really well with the gym visits (3) and my eating habits... not sure what the next couple days will bring but I am determined to stay strong! I think I would have been down for the week but that damned company Christmas party got in the way!
I am off to finish a little shopping and then it is time to shut down and enjoy the next few days... Got tomorrow off work and nothing but chilling out on the schedule!
Happy Holidays everyone!
Brian
Hug your kids every day, let them know they are loved, keep them safe the best you can.

That or they got up to go to the can and got distracted and did not bother to go back.
Got to do the last minute shopping thing myself. The soon to be emailed her list to me again this morning. Nothing too much out of the realm of possibility but sorry the diamond studded bicycle chain sized tennis bracelet is not happening. I've spent enough at Zales this year with the engagement ring. Among the other items on the list is to get married. No pressure there!
Happy Holidays gents.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Merry Christmas to all of you. Looking forward to being together with most of my kids this week.
My wife's family are award winning candy makers and everyone will be trying to out do each other this week. My all time favorite is hand dipped chocolate butter creams. I am starting to have a dumping session just thinking about them.
I pulled a muscle in my next last week and have been taking it easy. Between the pain pills and the muscle relaxers I have little choice. I did have a major Fart last week. I got a notice from the DMV that my drivers license needed to be renewed and I will get brand new picture and won't have to lie about my weight.
Life is unbelievable and getting better. See you next week.
Daniel

Been holding in steady pattern all week- I think my metabolism is ratcheted up to the max. I work effortlessly and crave more. I have endless energy and six hours of sleep is adequate. I run up stairs and am cranking out laundry and dirty dishes in the early a.m. and grinding out an hour on the treadmill at night. See what happens when you get healthy?
I notice people look at me differently now. The chicks smile, the guys are more receptive, as well. I feel like I'm on some kind of natural high, and I like it!! My business is maxed out, and my involuntary restriction is serving me well.
Watching the Pats make a comeback, and then a well deserved nap on my only day off this week.
Good luck guys
Tim T.
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
Last week: 220.0 lbs / 19.9% body fat / 167.6 lbs muscle mass
This week: 219.0 lbs / 19.4% body fat / 167.8 lbs muscle mass
Fortunately, I wasn’t tempted by the office holiday food sirens this past week since I had to attend a training class. However, with the short daylight days and class schedule, I wasn’t able to make it to the off-road bike trails this week. I went to the gym for 60 full minutes of cardio on 3 days and still made progress on the muscle mass front.
May you all have a safe & very Merry Christmas!
-Mike

As you said Brian, the Mayans were clearly wrong. As a History teacher, tried to explain this to my students and friends, but for some reason people are truly captivated by these apocolytpic theories. In any event, I for one am happy they were not accurate!!!
So, the number ticking up this week to 204. I am not surprised as I have been eating pretty poorly. Way too much picking and snacking. It is not as bad as pre surgery, but definitely not been mindfully eating that is for sure. If anything, I have not been minding eating at all!!!! Mostly, grazing and snacking....stupid holidays!
Also, my Exercise over the past week was also not good. I was only able to get in 2 days of exercise/running. Combined with eating, not surprised the scale slid upwards this week.
HOWEVER, that all being said, today is a new day. I commit to myself to take it a meal a time and try to do something active for at least 30 minutes per day!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all my friends!
Yours in WLS,
Bill Mac
