  Well, I spent the week battling a nasty sinus infection, which was/is bad enough to make my molars hurt like I need a root canal. It also interrupted my sleep pattern and now I'm walking around like a freakin' zombie. I finally went to the clinic and got some Amoxicillin and something to initiate sleep.  That being said, I had no exercise beyond working 10 hours a day and you know what happens when you sit on a couch all nigh****ching TV- the grazing channel. So the result was a 3 pound gain this week. I'm not happy about it, but I'm confident I can reverse it as soon as I'm feeling better.  Sorry I'm late-better than never.   Tim T. -

Good Morning,

The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
200: Weigh In 12/2/12
202: This Week 12/9/12 -->Up 2 lb BMI=29
144: Total Weight Loss

To start with, have to concur what many have said on here as well as across our country. The tragic events in Newton, CT makes me recognize the REAL important things in life: Faith, Family, and Friends.

In terms of my journey in WLS...as someone pointed out it can be Maddening! I was happy with my weight being stable at 202. However, just yesterday I was at 205!!! I have been to a lot of Amusement Parks and ridden many roller coasters but none compare to the roller coaster this journey can be. Still gotta take the highs with the lows and ride it out best I can.

Eating has been a little better. Still struggling to not partake in the holiday seasonal Food Gorge!! I am commited to still log my food and try to eat mindfully, and do my best not to partake in GRAZING!! Keep it at 1 meal at a time to keep in check.

Exercise is good. I was able to get in 3 days or exercise/running. I really enjoy working out, but often it seems IMPOSSIBLE to find the time with work, 3 kids, and the Holidays fast approaching. Still, it is important for my health and well being so I want to maintain at least a minimum of 3 days working out per week.

Hope your all doing well...

Yours in WLS,

Bill Mac
