Sunday Morning Weigh In, DST Edition
Good Morning Guys,
On a day when so many on the forum are having struggles, I hesitated to mention that I reached my goal weight. 120 lbs lost since January 26th of this year. I am happy with the journey so far, but worried about the future. I have been blessed with a easy time of it, and hope that doesn't cause a downfall later.
Hope everyone that we have not heard from on the east coast is all right.

Remember guys, we are on a lifelong marathon not a sprint. We will continue to struggle BUT we have an advantage now – we have a tool & the knowledge of how to use it. I think our greatest collective fear is that the weight will creep back on & we will let it happen. But, we have the power – we just have to find the will to use it!
We can do this!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
Last week: 210.4 lbs / 20.7% body fat / 158.6 lbs muscle mass
This week: 212.6 lbs / 20.1% body fat / 161.4 lbs muscle mass
I’m up 2.2 lbs this week but thankfully due to muscle not fat. Surprised since I stopped strength training 2 weeks ago for tennis elbow to heal but had 5 days of gym cardio or off-road biking.
Have a great week guys!
Mike

Hi guys, Better late than never- yard work, gym time, Dad taxi, etc. prevented from posting yesterday. Well, Sandy was basically a wet fart around here - no power out, no trees or major branches down, little rain. I've seen alot worse with an unnamed nor'easter. Holding steady this week, and my concerns are mirroring some of you other guys about the extra calories sneaking their way in. I have a snack mix I mix up myself (see crack in a bag) with assorted nuts, wasabi peas, and Kaschi cereal. It's usually a small portion after dinner, but I find myself gravitating to it more than once a day recently. Not good. I have rarely calorie counted and usually at the end of the day I reflect on what I actually did eat, and most times it seems modest, especially compared to other people I watch consume meals. A small tweak in my right knee has limited my distance runs, I suppose I could gut it out, but I am concerned I will sustain a credible injury. I have been back to the gym a couple of times last week, and after taking the better part of the summer off, my pecs are telling me I am basically back to zero. One day at a time, I guess. Great FART, Dan, you should be spiking the ball for that, at least once! I have a few observations about some physical and psycological changes I have noticed recently, I will post them a little later this week to maybe kick up the activity around here. In the meantime, good luck to the rest of you guys, and carry on. That is all. Tim T.
