Checking In
Well at the 6 month mark I am down 110. I break a ton of rules and follow just as many. I dont really exercise. I am active but Im not running or doing 5k's or anything like that. I fish on the great lakes for 10-12 hrs straight not an easy task before in 3-4 ft waves, I canoed for 8 hrs a day this summer for 11 days. I work around the house and currently am carrying 19 credits in nursing school so I am busy. Food wise still doing lots of yogurts Kashi go lean, cheeses, cottage cheese, and meats. no potatoes or breads and the only pasta I have had was in a can of soup. I do like a beer now and then but 1 and Im happy 2 and Im too drunk to drive. Turkey taste great 3 bites Im good 4 bites Im puking cause it sticks. No junk food whatsoever. No hunger cravings but lots of head cravings. I have had a few weeks of stalling and days of yo yo weights but it always comes off. still on hb pills but diabetes is gone. In general no regrets. I am in 38's instead of 50's and xl instead of 4xl. I take my supplements, drink plenty of water and watch my proteins. I eat around 1300-1500 a day in calories. NO junk except beer after my weekly exams.

Hi Davo-Couple things: 1. Congrats on the 110 loss..in 6 months no less!!! 2. Congrats on going to school, as a Teacher love to hear of people going to school 3. Lastly, any time we do ANY activity be it walking, running, canoeing it is all good as it is a Life Style change that were looking for...Congrats my friend!!
