Thank you all for the kind comments on my "before and after" picture, they still call me "fat *******" but I just laugh!

Finally found a food I can not tolerate! My NUT released me to eat "any food I can tolerate" two weeks ago and I found one... Severe belly pain for 2 hours, writhing in my recliner, thought something major went wrong but it was just my pouch talking. I have done fine with all the classic problem foods... Steak, shrimp, scallops, pork... Learned a lesson I will not soon forget!

I'm working on the fresh veggies myself but so far so good. I get frustrated because one day something will go down great then the next day not so great but overall there's little I can't get down.......probably a good and bad thing both!

Hell that was a pic of you??? I thought it was a photo of a pole in the changing room!!!!!

Man you are spot on and looking sharp!! I gotta say I'm kind of jealous because you got to goal so fast but my time will come and I know I started with a lot more to lose so I'm keep'in at it for sure brother!!
Good job and thanks for all your leadership and support on the board!!

 Hi Stoney...

Stop now, you are making me self-conscious! Two reasons I got to goal so fast: I was a lightweight when I started... I am in awe of folks like Mike who have lost multiples of what I have. And, I was extremely agressive in my pre-surgery diet.

You are doing awesome and have a fantastic attitude, You will get there and do it with confidence.

I do appreciate the kind words, keep up the good work loser!

Brian

Remember even if something doesn't set well with your pouch, try it again in 6 months.  Try a smaller amount and see how you do then.  Your body changes over time and adapts to foods.  I love raw carrots and it's one of my goto foods.  Wait and see.

Thanks Bri, I did hit on one that typically is not recommended: Grapes. I throw a handful in a sandwich baggie for the afternoon crave... have not had an issue with the skins at all.

Thanks Dan! I love me some steak! I get the New York Strip from the wholesale club and freeze them in the right portions for my wife and I... Thrown on the grill and trimmed after grilling to remove remaining fat and "tough" parts. I found that if I start with a good cut even if it is a little less lean and then trim it I end up with a tender, juicy meal Yum! (I really do want to eat the edges where the fat has made a crispy tasty treat but know I can't).

LOL on sharing a name!
