Boy time flies.  It seems like a few months ago I was writing a thread about the upcoming football season.  Here we go again.
Time for your trials, tribulations, and prognostications about your local college and pro teams.  First, I want to say thank you thank you thank you America for noticing USC and posting them as # 1 in the nation.  Personally I can't stand the team (best team money can buy).  It's just the SEC gets all the glory and praise while out west we feel forgotten.  For college...again it's GO CAL!!  They will probably have their usual 6 and 5 record and play in a no name early December bowl.
For the 49ers, they didn't look good during preseason and were a 1/2 step slow on defense.  Don't know if their receiving group will be healthy.  Also like most of the top tier teams, if the QB goes down it could be a long season.  The Raiders who I follow somewhat look so so.  I would put money on them having a .500 season or less.
So what about your college and pro teams you follow??

Got to say it is good to live in Carolina Panther country!!!  Cam Nation is about to take over, he is the real deal and yet seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

I grew up a Steeler fan (in western PA) so they are my next favorite team.  Of course that puts me in a rock and a hard place tonight!!  (Steelers vs Panthers, 8pm)

Not a real big fan of the college stuff, I went to grad school at Appalachian State and so I am always for them picking up another national title in their division!

Giant fan here with no illusion that they are going to win it again. They have the talent but the odds of them putting it all together in just not that high. I expect 8-8 9-7 and anything better is gravy.

I played fantasy last year and loved it. It really changes the way one watches football. In the past I would watch the Giants and any other game had to be a good one. Now I find myself watching the Bucs and Seattle because I have a D-Back that needs to get me 3 points. It is really stupid and silly and takes up way too much time and a bit of $ but I'm glad I do it.

Did anyone notice this weekend that 3 (Orgeon State, Arizona, and Arizona State) Pac 12 teams (unranked), beat 3 teams ranked in the top 20??  Makes you wonder...
