Sunday morning weigh-in, is Summer done edition?
331.0: All time high 3/10/08
321.0: Surgery day 4/7/08
184.0: GOAL!! 1/13/09
173.0: 1 yr Surgiversary 4/7/09 and at 18 months
171.5: 2 yr Surgiversary (Dr. scales)
175.5: 3 rd Surgiversary (his scales in shorts and t-shirt)
170.2: 4 th Surgiversary
169.6: Last week
168.6: This week
Down tick on scales so not complaining about the digits.
Rain and cooler! Send it my way!! Have gotten some showers but all that does is settle the dust and make the grass grow. Gives the West Nile virus toting mosquitoes a place to breed in standing water.
Got a new toy yesterday! Jan not willing to ride on the back of an ATV and we can't carry the grands on it either so got a Kawasaki Mule. Was too late in the day for it to go through prepping to bring it home, or go back and pick it up, so bring it home tomorrow. I'm off work tomorrow, or I was when I left late Friday, so I'll have time to piddle around with it when I get it home.
Looks like this but with the hard top added.

Hug your kids every day, let them know they are loved, keep them safe the best you can.

Highest 407 lb
Surgery 5/17/10
Last week 194.6 lb
This week 192.4 lb
Fluctuation this week -2.2 lb
Total lost 214.6 lb
It was a surprise to get on the scale and see a loss considering how the week went. My partner had a heart attack apparently early Monday morning and I spent the week at the hospital. Getting off schedule means poor choices and not one trip to the gym all week.
The good news is that he is getting stronger and is ready to begin getting on with life, albeit changed. No only does he have a stent to deal with along with the associated drug retiming, but the doctor out him on insulin twice a day. Obviously, there are dietary changes in store for him that he's not happy about. If anyone had mentioned heart attack, it would have been assumed I was the victim. At least before the surgery. He's only a bit over 200 pounds and just over 6 feet tall, so not the textbook overweight diabetic that I was.
I guess something like this forces everyone close to reassess their mortality. Not pleasant, but probably a good thing.
Have a great week guys.
