Help I have falling and can't get up
I haven't been around for along time now. Life has been busy for me and i have started to put weight back on. Not happy with putting the weight back on.
I had the sleeve done back in DEC of 2010 and was down 60 pounds last DEC. I have put on about 20 pounds so far. Just very frustrated with myself now and decided that today i was going to get back on track. It has been a ***** all day with no food, just drinking protein drinks for a few days then I will start eating food again. Just have to measure out my food and stop eating out at work too.
Thanks for letting me vent here.

As Obi-Wan Don has said you have taken the first step and sounds like the second step. I am not a fan of nor would I do the 5 day pouch test but there have been times I have gone back to square one and done shakes for a few days and reprogressed through the various stages just to get back on track.
I find Livestrong.com a huge help when I am going through periods where I am doubting my calories and protein versus carb intake.
You haven't said if you are getting in any exercise, which certain types can be a huge help.

Hi Don, Welcome back. Everyone slips up now and again. We will support you wherever you are on your trip. Remember this is a life change and without your help the surgery is useless. It helps me once in awhile to count again and remind myself what I am taking in. Sounds like you are taking the right steps to get back on track. We are with you buddy!
Hug your kids every day, let them know they are loved, keep them safe the best you can.

Welcome back on the wagon!
Ditto to what everyone else said, but I will add that a part of my accountability is the "Sunday Morning Weigh-In" Hop on this Sunday and stay on with us every week. It helps keep you track knowing that you have to post your weight for everyone to see on Sunday. (Lots of support to go with it, no judging...) It is also a good way to get to know all the guys on here and keep up with whats going on with everyone...
Hope to see you Sunday!

Welcome back Don, glad to see you're getting back on track. If you don't mind, could you talk a little more about what got you off track? It might help you start to see where your triggers are and what to avoid in the future. I know most of us would like to know some of the struggles you have had. I know for me, I want to hear the good, bad, and the ugly so that I can learn from those who have gone down those roads. By the way, this is a great place to vent, so vent away. Good luck on your journey, may you have much success in the future.
