Head hunger, real hunger... How to know the difference?
all of my hunger thus far has been in my head. The desire to taste chew and satiate however I resist it. I eat no potatoes, pasta. rice or bread except now I have been hitting the special k cracker chips 8-15 at a time with cottage cheese. I stay away from all sweets that are not sugar free. My fix is a protein shake, or bar and diet hot chocolate with milk or milk powder and a sweetner. I really dont feel hungry, i dont get low sugars, i dont get the shakes and the only urges I get are typically for bad foods so I dismiss them as head hunger. I have read that some have the hunger urge return after 4-6 monhs others never do. My diet plan has been in a constant state of change as I am trying to find my normal. I try to document everything I eat and stay under 1000 calories for me as I am only in month four. I have no troubles with that as long as my proteins are in the 70 range. I do not get hungry but I do have cravings that ebb and flow daily, I try to ingnore them or accopet them and understand that overtime some of those foods can return in small amounts but I am not so sure I trust myself to allow them in now.
