C25K, Runners, Walkers, Cyclists
I know that more than a cuple of us out there are enjoying the new abilities that losing lots of weight has afforded us. More than a couple people have taken on and completed a 5K more than a couple are probably thinking about this or more.
I know the one thing that I find helpful and keeps me working forward is a community of like minded and encouraging people. I have mentioned the Exercise and Fitness forum and some have posted once or twice and more than a couple probably lurk there but are afraid to post for some reason.
If this is you I have an Alternative!
DailyMile.com is a site I use to track my miles. Along with logging your miles you can link with friends and comment on their workouts. Best of all it is free!!!
if your intrested or you sign up let me know and we can link up.

I have thought about doing a 5k but my issues aren't only my weight. I have to bad knees and don't know if I will be able to run even when I get down to my goal weight. I would like to but don't know if that is going to be an attainable goal or not. I'm walking on the treadmill with no incline at all and I'm okay for about 30 minutes before my knee starts to hurt.

Bro if the past 2 years have taught me anything it is that YOU can accomplish anything if you work for it. I'm not saying you can run a sub 30 out the gate but finishing? Oh yeah you can do that.
