That would make you completely normal.  Distract yourself the best you can today, keep moving and it will be over before you know it.

Blessings for a speedy recovery,
Roger

It will go great!! Get ready for the ride of your life.  Good luck, as others have said the nerves are normal.

Well, I came home yesterday at 2PM.  Actually some of the worst pain I've had.  Probably partially my fault, since I quit using the Morphine the night before.  It made me feel bad, and all I could do was sleep with it.  When I was awake I'd be severely nauseated.

Since being home, I've had no issues getting the protein shakes down and my water.  My pain is almost totally controlled by the take home oxycodone.

Glad your back...The first few weeks are very boring...Hurry up and wait (like the hospital).  For most people the pain last 4-6 days...Then about 10 days of discomfort (drugs may or may not be needed)...Then you're good to go.  The pain near your bellybutton is where they put the camera, that is why that site hurts more.  Sleep when and where you can...couch, bed, floor, recliner.  Try and use pillows in differnt ways to get comfortable.  Walk, sleep, sip, repeat for quite awhile...Boring stuff.  Later, Brian
