off to the races,,,,

or at least the 5K road race I'm entered in this morning, I'm just glad that it only takes a half hour to do, because it looks like we're getting a soaker here on Cape Cod and soon. Running in a downpour- yeahh, good times! Wish me luck!

Well, I'm back home already- the rain held off, finished in 26 min. 55 sec. came in 49th place- it's all good!  Now the kids want to go to the mall. Sheesh!! Talk about anti-climactic...........

Congradulations on your 5 K accomplishment.  I couldn't even fathom that distance.  I did a 1/4 mile walking yesterday for the first time and was trilled.  It's nice to know we newbees can work towards your accomplishments.  Keep leading us.

Congrats on the run, and not so much on the mall

 Wow, a GREAT time too!!!  I did 5k in 36:13 at lunch today, hoping to build up speed and endurance so I can catch you rabbits!!   :)
