I hope you don't mind my first.....F.A.R.T.!

I saw my surgeon today for the first time since surgery on the 17th.  He said everything looked good, removed my last bandages from the 7 wounds he inflicted on me, and said I could move to the soft, mushy, preed food stage this weekend.  I already cheated and had the best l oz. of low-fat cottage cheese I've ever eaten.  LOL

Here's my F.A.R.T.:  I weighed 341.? on Apr 5th when I first saw him.  And today it was 299.4 lbs.  Unbelieable to me.  My wife and kids have already made comments that they can see a difference.  And I can already see it in my clothes.  Two months just wiped out a year and a half of my over eating.  Praise the Lord!

One stupid question.  I forgot (I'm an oldman) what exactly FART stands for?

Thanks for all the support.

I take exception to your comment of "old guy farts".  If you have never "pulled my finger" you have no right to make that comment about me.  LOL!

Thanks for the info on the meaning of fart.

No Brian most of mine is before surgery too.  I've only lost 14 lbs. in 14 days.  But it seems that every scale you step on has a different number.  The scale they weighed me on the morning of surgery was 3 or 4 lbs higher than the one I used at my PT place the day before and this was before I cleaned out my system.  The doctors office has a big scale but it is about 6 or 7 lbs different than the one I use at our workout room here in the adult trailer park that I live.  Maybe I should invest in a real good one and make that my official one.

Maybe I'll make that my next question to the forum.

Yes, scales are all over the place... My Dr. has an "official" one that is up to 5 lbs. off my cheapie at home, I weight different even at 2 scales in the same office! I used 269 as my official start weight even though it cheated me a pound from my home weight of 270! For my weekly checks I use my home scale in nothing but my skivvies, obviously i have a few more pounds of clothing on me at the Dr. My home scale is a digital which was not too expensive, hope it does not fail me tomorrow, I am expecting to enter Century City!
