Mike, congrats on finding your jaw line!  Have scar tissue on my cheek bones from scraping them.

Hats off to the veterans among us and extended props to the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Thanks Don.  Its amazing the things we were missing or never imagined being so overweight in the past!!  I've definitely got to pay attention now when shaving on my jaw line!!  So that's what that thing is!

Good Memorial Day Men

A big thank you to all who are serving, have served and especially to those that gave their lives for our great county !

Great week for me. Down 5 lbs and have gone from extremely obese to obese and in a few pounds I'll just be overweight. Looking forward to the day I once again become normal ( in my weight anyway ).

You all have a wonderful week and isn't funny how we can be ourselves and get so much support from other guys we have and may never meet.  Thank You !

Good Memorial Day to everyone and especially to our veterans and those we lost  defending our freedoms.

Today is my 11 post-op day and I feel pretty good.  Still having pain around the wound from the umbilical hernia repair.  Getting to the point where I want to have some food in my mouth.  Hopefully when I see the surgeon on Thurs I will be allowed to advance to the next step on the way to somewhat normal eating.

Tomorrow is my day at the National Memorial Cemetery here in Phx.  My buddy was buried there three years ago next month.  We had served together the last 5 years of our Army careers.  After that it was 32 years of almost a melded family.  I loved that guy more than my own brother.  He had cancer throughout his body.  He didn't to go to VA to get it recognized as cancer caused from "agent orange".  He was an Infantry Platoon Sgt and he served 3 tours in Vietnam.  His name should be added to "The Wall" in D.C.  He is my true hero.  His name is:  James Mason Metzler, SFC, USA, Ret.  Rest in peace buddy.

Everyone have a safe holiday.
