So finally I met with my nutritionist on Friday. I'm one year and a half out from RNY, and i've been pretty successful with my weight loss, but was at a stand still with my weight at about 206.  So I met with the nutritionist, and I was wondering why I was always hungry during breakfast and we found out the problem.  Here's the list of things that were recommended for some of you guys, hopefully these tips can assist some of you all, so you dont make the same messups i've made.

1.  Leave cold cereals alone. I was eating special K with skim milk, it wasl ow in carbs and fat, but 30 minutes later i was deadly hungry.  Well the nut was saying by drinking the milk and cereal together it was washing the cereal out of the pouch.  (i didn't even think of that.).  She also recommended that you leave soups alone also, unless they are blended such as lentil/chili.  Also she was telling me to make tuna, using greek yogurt. with celery, onions and carrots in it to bulk up the tuna as a great filler.

2.  She also told me I wasnt eating enough fiber. This causes severe constipation.  (So for  breakfast and every mean thereafter she recommended me eat a piece of fruit and a great filler is oatmeal with a teaspoon of peanut butter melted in it.  Tried it this morning and it worked, I wasn't hungry for a long time thereafter.

***At this point I should also be working out 4-5 times a week,

3.  Also she told me to stop focusing on counting of calories and just focus on what's on my plate. more proteins, veggies, and fruit. Carbs aren't bad when doing an intense workout

4. Also dont talk Viactiv Calcium Chews. Its not whats recommended, she wanted me to get Celebrate Vitamins the chewables that are Calcium Citrate.  Vicactiv contains calcium carbonate which doesn't absorb fully with the pouch.

All in all i've been doing good but needed these pointers, If anyone has any other pointers if would be greatly appreciated

If you smell like ammonia after a hard workout you 100% are not getting enough carbs.  Finding what is the right amount is difficult and takes time.  I'm still trying to find the sweet spot.
