Hang tough Dan, you're coming down the home stretch now!!!
That liver will be nice and shrunk up for your surgeon to work around!!! Not to mention you being down a few pounds.
Good luck buddy,
Stoney

Danny-boy!

You gotta take control of your calories and carbs yourself.

There's no asking a nutritionist if you can eat a certain food, you need to develop the skills and the information base to figure it out for yourself. Do what the surgeon's office says, but dealing with the day-to-day meals on your own.

Ask for the parameters with regard to the calories, and grams of carbs and fats, and build your own new world. Of course you can call and ask them if you have issues.

I use myfitnesspal.com  If you have a smart phone this is a no brainer. If you have access to a computer daily it still rocks.

Document for your own edification, but for increased accountability, give the address/access to someone (or better, several someones)  that will kick your ass.

get 'er done brother!

You have reached the point of no return now! Put up a supply of shakes you tolerate well, you likely have 2 weeks post surgery too!
Hang on, the ride is about to begin.
