Greeting's from NH
Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks just getting a feel for the forum. My name is Chris and I'm in NH. The posts I've read have been great and have made me think of things I had not thought of. I really had not thought about joining a forum until my dietician suggested it me. This was my session to be put on the lo cal diet. I'm scheduled for RNY on monday 5/14/12. Even though I started this journey back in October 2011 it's been a whirl wind of stuff. Appointments, documentation, classes, sleep studies, insurance etc. With the procedure in a couple of days it still feels surreal. My highest weight was 417 (July 2011) and my weigh in yesterday was 359. I'm looking forward to the journey.
Take care ,,,,

Welcome! This is the place to be for some good advice!!
Monday will be here before you know it!! Your life will change for the better for sure, just make sure you follow some of the advise you've read on here for right after surgery and in a couple weeks you'll be healed up and ready to go!
Best of luck,
Stoney

Welcome Chris. I've only been here a week myself, but these guys are a very friendly bunch with a hell of a lot of knowledge about RNY. I can't give you anything but good luck for Mon morning. You see, I'm right behind you. My surgery is Thurs the 17th. Check out Sunday morning when most of the men comment. Let us know how it goes.
