Post weightloss surgery...What foods don't sit well with you??

Hey, thought we could get a thread going on what foods you avoid.  You know the ones...You can eat it, but it just doesn't sit well in you reformed stomach (whatever the surgery).  I'll go ahead and list mine.
I'm 5 1/2 years out from RNY.  I eat pork, but just a few bites.  More than that and it will just sit there in my pouch...rumbling away.  Also deep fried isn't good for down there.  Chinese food (which is bad for us to begin with...and got us to be as big as we got) is another food that I don't do well with.  Things like pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, anything with a lot of oil I can't handle.  Over the years I have found out I don't dump.  I can eat chocolate, candy and ice cream...Bad news.  The one sugar item I have problems with is soft serve ice cream.  The quick sugar rush, the oil and cream rushing into my small intestine really doesn't sit well.  I also hate to throw out the half done cone, so I'll finish the cone off and regret it later!!  So those of you out a few months or years...What foods don't sit well in your stomach or which are hard to digest??  Brian

Since my most recent fill of my band, I have trouble with dry chicken, fish, and turkey

Anything that I don't chew to a liquid and esp bread and tortillas - certain foamies and spit cup for an hour.

6 1/2 post op RNY - Deep fried are also tough for me. Hooters hot wings used to be my absolute favorite. Now I'd rather not eat them. As I have proven in the last year, I can eat all the milkey way bars I want without any punishment except the weight gain and guilt! Carbs make me want to sleep right away. If I have a couple pancakes, it's hard to keep my eyes open. Ice cream gives me terrible gas.

Let me add two more that I just thought of. Eggs and Poland Spring water. It took me a good year to figure out those. It's really the yolks. Egg whites are fine.

So far (1 year out, today!)  haven't found anything that causes any particular distress.  I haven't done much deep fried foods for years so can't really comment on that, nor do I miss anything of that sort (guess I already broke that habit in the previous years of trying to avoid WLS). Sometimes a particularly stringy pot roast might be a bit much, mostly I think because it needs more stomach churning/processing than other meats so my capacity is a bit less for it, so that one last bite is a little more costly with it.

There are several items for me. Flour tortillas just ball up and sit in my pouch until I throw them up. I do not eat any pasta or rice at all and very little if any bread. Fried chicken doesn't work. Firmer steaks like a strip are bad, so if I eat steak, it needs to be softer and not greasy like a filet.

I'm good with fruits except that too many strawberries will bother me. Sugars do not typically bother me, but although I allow myself some treats, I try to be careful.

Crab is not good as it is hard to chew thoroughly. Oranges are bad because of the membrane. Generally anything I cannot chew well is an issue.

I had a little pork and a bite of corn it didnt go well.  Had a few shrimp that did not work out well and meatloaf is off limits yet.  I am not quite two months out. I have not tried any sweets, bread or potatos. I can eat chicken if moist, eggs, fish, yogurt, turkey and cheese of various types in small amounts.

I do well with most any thing if in - MODERATION!  Yes, I'll confess to the occasional piece of non-SF piece of candy and swig of a "real" soft drink.  While I try to avoid it, deep fried foods in general, I'll on occasion have a piece of fried catfish or if it is the only meat available a piece of fried chicken.  Anything too dry or stringy will ride like the proverbial ton of bricks till it digest.  Brocoli and cheese gives me enough gas that I if I was still a smoker, quit over 11 years ago, I could be a danger to myself or others if I were to light a smoke!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I'm about 18 months out and don't have an issue with too many things.  Chinese food, which is bad to begin with, never sits well so I avoid it mostly.
Anything heavy in salt is an issue for me - deep fried foods, processed foods (like the premade frozen burgers (Turkey, veggie, etc) from Costco, beef tends to be a bit too heavy as well.

I find that if I saute meat with veggies, beans and some kind of liquid (tomato sauce, or sauce from the beans) everything tends to sit better.

I don't have issues with sugars or carbs at all, which means i need to watch out.  I would even go as far as to say at time when my stomach is upset, eating a piece of Dark Chocolate helps to settle it,

 Hi gents,

At a little over 2 weeks out I have little to add to the discussion, but...  I will echo that chicken needs to be moist. I had by first bout with nausea, too much chicken too fast. Did not lose it but felt really crappy for several hours!  I have not yet ventured beyond chicken, lunch meat, string cheese, cottage cheese and bananas.
