An NSV that's really only appropriate, here...

Getting dressed this morning, I looked in the mirror and say something I'd not seen in a long time...I barely recognized my member actually dangling free from the top of the scrotum...

One thing I've not mentioned is that one of my expectations is that my sexual relationship with my wife improves (read as, comes into existence once again) in that with the weight loss I'll be able to have and maintain a hard erection. i've been convinced that my bulk around my midsection along with my Type II diabetes has conspired to thwart my ability to act on my libido...

Anyone else been here?

Yes the precieved increase in the size of our junk is pretty cool and appreciated by our wives or significant others.  It makes it more fun for everyone!

I think the fact that I am 21 months or so post op and have a 9 month old baby girl speaks volumes about the OTHER benefits of WLS!

Hey,

Gotta say what a great post. As I lost weight from WLS, things have got MUCH better in terms of sex with my wife. It was not bad before, but since WLS it has been GREATLY improved!!!

Now that should be something they include in the literature for WLS....sure it would make all very happy!!

Best,
Bill

Thanks for this post.  It prompted me to start a simalar thread on the RNY forum that actually turned out to be a lot of fun.  And probably the most viewed Non Surgery war thread on there ever.
