What a week!  Got to the gym like I was supposed to. (Last week only made it there twice instead of the usual 3-4 times)  Had a normal week at work.  Nothing spectaular there.  Here's the exciting part...  I had LASIK on Friday and no longer wear glasses!!!  WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

Only draw back to the lasik is that Dr says I can only do a brisk walk at the gym for the next three weeks.  No running, no biking, no weights.  That is going to make it challenging for making the mini goal of mine to be below 350 by my birthday (3/26).  However, I wouldn't trade it for anything.  Not having to wear glasses is AWESOME!

Otherwise, hopefully this week is going to be another normal, easy, losing week!

See ya next Sunday, if not before!

Well a big ole goose egg for me this week too.  I should've known though.  I was sick the beginning of the week with a wicked cold and things at work really sucked. I missed my usual workout routine as a result.  I'm looking forward to this upcoming week as I am feeling great this morning!!

I took two teenagers, my son and his buddy, snowmobiling on Friday night.  It was a full moon and we rode until 2:00am.  I would have never done this in the past for fear of the kids getting stuck and me not being in shape enough to help them get out.  It was so beautiful to be up at 11,000 feet and not even coming close to sucking for air!!!  I felt great.

Here's to a great upcoming week and positive changes for us all!!

That is awesome.  I love being able to do things that we love again without fear of being bogged down by our bodies.  Great post!

This week was pretty flat but it was still downwards so I am okay. I am still on a bit of a cloud from being on a cruiseship for 14 days and actually losing weight. So now that we are back to regular work after three weeks off for a winter holiday it is time to catch up and get back to regular. We are having a walking contest at work and I am glad to contribute my 5 and 10 Kilometer walks to the effort. Lots of rain but I don't mind walking in the rain now.
I am glad to be reporting back into the guys. I missed doing this while I was away. Did you know you can't weigh yourself when you are at sea on a cruiseship? The boat, and the scale, keeps moving up and down with the waves.

Hang in there guys.

Good stuff about losing while on the cruise but why would you want to go near a scale while on a cruise?  Just Kidding!!    Glad to have you back on the forum.
