Thank you all for your support and understanding. I'm surprised none of you guys suggested a different surgery, not because it isn't the one you got, but because of the potential malabsorption of the DS or to not get surgery at all. I think the reason why is because we guys are more willing to do and try stuff than women. For example, taking the training wheels off of a bicycle. A mother may be wanting her child to practice more with them, while a father is more wanting to take them off.

Also thanks for the reminder Michael P. Our surgery is a tool. We use it to HELP us lose weight. Like another example with a shovel. You use it to dig an area to do complete an activity, such as planting. If you don't know how to shovel, you can't dig. Also you can harm yourself with the tool. Like if you get the DS and not take your vitamins, you will develop deficiencies and if you don't take them for a long amount of time after getting those deficiencies, you can die. The main reason to get the DS is to become healthy and live longer and not die. Both factors will be part of my motivation whenever I get my surgery. That can be this or next year, though I doubt, or 5 years from now. I know, though, I will be ready for my journey.
