Well a great week on the scales finally showing some movement.  Its been a while since I've had good downard moevement so I'll take it.  Didn't get much gym time in this past week but was able to walk every day and had a nice visit with friends in New York (Thanks again Tim for kicking off last week's weigh in).

Had a nice FART to share this week.  I have a bathroom sink that has literally been clogged off and on for 5 years and each time we would use some liquid plumber to clear it up and make it semi-usable.  Well this past week it finally hit its limit and even the old liquid plumber couldn't do the job.  In the past I've toyed with the idea of getting down under the small sink and trying to do something about it but could never really maneuver myself around under the cabinet so didn't bother.  Well, times sure have changed and I was able to get down under the sink, take off the trap and reveal the cause of my woes.  It was a kids purple Barney tooth brush the was lodged in there and causing a huge plug.  After pulling it out and re-assembling the sink, it has never worked better. Man what a feeling to be able to effortlessly do that.  My wife was thrilled!!  Who'd have thunk that WLS would allow me to do this.  Good Stuff!

Anyway, time to go get ready for the girls minor league softball draft which is running most of today to see if we can get a few more pieces of the puzzle and make the 2012 Blue Jays unstoppable!!

Hope Everyone has a great week and Think Spring!!

 Morning fellas!

Great FART Mike, tell the truth now, did you show any plumbers crack? Cuz' you can't play plumber without the crack!

My stats:

High weight: 296
Weight at initial consult 1-19-2012: 269
Last week: 250
This week: 246

Loss of 4 this week. Sticking with 1500 or less calories a day and doing my best to make smart food choices. Finally got in to see my PCP Friday for the final piece of paper needed in order to submit to insurance. I fought like hell to get him to write the recommendation without seeing me but it was a no-go. I figured he would do a semi-complete physical but I was frustrated when this whole ordeal was so he could weigh me and listen to my heart... I waited 2 weeks for a 2 minute appointment just to get this letter!  Argh, the wheels of medicine grind slowly!

Have a great week and keep up the good work you losers!

Brian   (Still waiting to be drafted to the losers bench)

First, Brian, I wish you hadn't brought up the visual of Mike's "plumber's crack."

A good week for me as I get back to normal after a long weekend in Florida. I've had pretty strong daily swings through the week. In fact, I saw as much as a 4 lb daily variation from one day to the next (yesterday I weighed in at 178.6 lb and today at 182.6). I guess I just should expect this sort of swing. As long as I'm maintaining overall, it's all good.

Hope you all have a great week.

A flatline this week-  I'm sure it's one of those stalls that happens every other month. I am getting close to my personal goal, however, and I suspect the weight loss will slow as my metabolism is catching up to the calorie input/output.

Only made it to the gym once this week but I will show my face there this afternoon when my household chores are done. I'm trying to get a freshly painted bedroom and bath put back together  in one day that took me 3 days to disassemble. Good times!

I will make an appt. with my personal trainer next week to shake up my weight training routine.  I saw her a couple of weeks ago and she said I should start a free weight routine instead of the nautilus.

Have any of you guys tried the P90X stuff I saw on an infomercial early this morning?  It looks heavy duty "-results not typical_ individual results may vary". Oh well, at least I got the nutritional and fat burning meal regimen down pat!

OK, enough of this, I' ve gotta get my ass back to work-on my only day off.
Good luck this week- still lurkin' daily.

Down another 2 lbs this week. As you saw, had my 6 month follow up and got good results on my bloodwork. My iron is still a little low, so got upped to a higher dose. Other than that, I was given a "perfect" bill of health. I go Tuesday afternoon for my TV interview. Had to go buy some new clothes for that yesterday.

This week should be fun. Got some new clothes to show off, new boots, and am now below 270.... FOREVER!!!!

No plumbing done at my house. And as we in the Law Enforcement community say, "Say no to CRACK!" (That holds true for all varieties of it, Mike)
