So...What's for breakfast??
One of the things that strikes me in reading this ans similar threads is how little variety we want or perhaps "allow ourselves" to have. Not sure if that means we value food less than before or whether we are simply afraid to venture too far from what we know works for digestion and for our weight loss or maintenance plans.

Great stuff here guys... More of what I was looking for when my breakfasts became boring... During the week I stick with my home brew coffee and non-dairy creamer and a little sugar to taste. With this I have rice cakes and peanut butter. Filling, fast, and travel freindly. I'll have a banana around 9am for a snack, this keeps me happy till lunch.
On the weekend it is generally eggs, ham or turkey sausage and veggies scrambled. Sometimes a touch of cheese or shredded potatoes. Skim milk or coffee to go with.
Bear in mind I am still preop, I am watching the calories closely and if they don't get the show on the road soon I will be half way to my goal before the surgery!
