hey guys.  Enjoying my second day home from the hospital.  thanks for all the support.  Im walking, sipping, and walking more. I had to sleep on the couch last night proped up because I just couldnt handle the bed.  I wouldnt say that im in constant pain...the gas is worse than the incisions.  I was barely using the pain pump and so far I took one vicodin last night before bed and then one mid morning.  I got excited when i pooped but then I was worried about wiping. I yelled for my wife...she promised for better or for for worse but she refused to help me out with that one.  lol  Surgery day, my weight was 365 and Im told that I look like Im looking smaller already.  I will keep you guys posted.

Welcome back!  Glad to see you are doing relatively well.  I had the same experience with gas pain.  The sore muscles and incisions weren't too bad at all.  The gas pain was way more of an issue.  After 5 days, I was completely off the pain killers and doing great.

Best of luck and don't forget to fasten your seatbelt.  This ride gets moving pretty fast now!

Congratulations !

I wish I could help you out with that bathroom problem, but I'm pretty sure I live too far away.

The more you walk the easier this will be. Keep up the good work!
