I have had the preop review which was encouring, "We will try to keep you alive, we think you will be ok!" Then on the 1st March have the op decision given I have had hernias and repaires.  Prayers please chaps so that I can get rid of major reflux and two cases and a large walk on bag of weight!
Surgeoan will give green or red light.  Have done lots of walking but still heavy.  Thanks, Ian.

Ian, Stay with it. It always seems like an uphill battle to the surgery date. But, in the long run, it's worth it!

Thanks Ken, let you all know what happens.  In the mean time I'll be on a Harley Tour to the end of February.  Ian.

Hang in there.  It is definately a hard journey, but at almost 6 months out, I wouldn't trade it for the world.  This is AWESOME!  I just went today and bought some more work clothes because everyone says mine are too baggy... AGAIN!  I LOVE IT!!!!!

Enjoy the Harley!

You'll do fine Ian.  Keep strong and post any concerns to this forum and you'll do ok.  It is well worth the anxiety and I wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks guys, 1st March is when the Doctor will decide if he will operate or not, I am ready and I hope he will be too.  In the meantime I leave Sunday (Saturday your time) with two intensive care nurses for a ride to the Dunedin international HOG rally in New Zealand.   A while ago I had an Ultra triked and had a nasty accident, 15 feet through the air unconscious.  Sooo prayers please for a safe trip on my new to me Road King.  Come back 27th and  prayers for a great result with the Doctor.  Op, my guess if he accepts me, might be April, May.  Whatever the outcome, I think you guys do great.  You all deserve and oscar!    Off now to motorcycle land.  Will blog again when I have the outcome of the Doctor's meeting.  Shalom, Ian.
