I'm having some trouble with food getting stuck thinks it's more of my fault then anything else. I'm only 6 weeks post op think maybe I'm pushing to much and dealing with head hunger. Thanks again to everyone that post helps keep me motivated. I start back to work tomorrow. I'm a paramedic so I have packed a a cooler of my safe foods to try and stay with my "home" routine at work

Hey John...Just wondering if you have a stricture??  You may want to look that up if you had RNY...

66 lbs total weight loss
45 lbs since surgery

Happy Sunday everyone,  well another pound this week.  Hit the gym 4 days which is the first time I have done that in a few years.  Actually enjoying it.  Life is good.   I expect that once my body gets used to the gym I should see my weight loss pick up.  Patience is a virgin.....I mean virtue...ok it is hard to find these days.....

Looking forward to the game next Sunday.  First Super Bowl post surgery, I think shrimp will be my snack for the game.  Plenty of protien and they agree with me so a win win....and then we have the Pats..lets hope for a win win.....Brady is pretty focused....I am glad he did not have a great game last week.....should make for some fiery determination....

Hi to all the new guys.....this place is great....all around....

Hope everyone has a great week.......Go Pats!!!!!

My progress hasn't been great the last six weeks. I've only dropped maybe ten pounds. My eating has been ok but as we talk about addiction transfer my issue is peanut butter crackers. I know this is what has stalled my progress!
One positive note, I've started participating in my gyms spinning classes. This is my first week and hope to make it a habit. My journey has been wonderful so far but I have to make adjustments to keep the momentum going. I need to reach my goal of 190 pounds! That will be a total of 201 pounds lost. I'm going make it if it kills me!!!! When I reach goal weight I am going to go skydiving. My reward to me.

I know many of you are Pats fans but I've been a Giants fan since about 1980. Mr Brady already has a heavy hand and I feel he doesn't need another ring to just weigh him down even more! Lol!
Seriously guys, good luck and enjoy the game. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the game and stay away from the junk food.

Have a great week fellas and I'll let ya know how my first full week of spin class goes!

Highest weight. 391

Sugery weight. 387

This weeks weight. 248

355 on 8/1/11 First day of the program
323 on 9/21/11 RNY Surgery Day

247.8  1/23/12
244.4 1/31/12  So 3.4 pounds lost over 8 days, so I feel pretty good!!

Life is becoming a blast, my wife and I bought a Harley Sportster 1200 Custom on Friday night, we actually fit!!  (Though a bigger bike would be nice some day)

Driving it every day to work, 37 degrees in the morning is cold, but 60s on the way home is fantastic!

Just really enjoying the journey!!
