Sunday Morning Weigh In
Starting weight: 415
Current weight: 263 (loss of 152 lbs)
Been "away" for a while, busy with life. Not much change in weight lately - seem to have stalled for a couple of months now, but great news on other fronts. I'm still working out an hour or more a day, and recently got my bicycle back out of storage, cleaned up, tuned up, and am enjoying the heck out of riding it again. Amazing how much more comfortable that seat is with 150 fewer pounds on it!
And best of all, just before Christmas I took my FAA flight physical and passed it, so now I'm back to full flying privileges. And I'm actually fulfilling a life-long dream of purchasing my own airplane. No, it's not a fancy new one, but a 1977 4-seater that will be an absolute blast to fly. It's being cleaned up and refurbished as we speak, and I should be taking delivery within a couple of weeks.
I'm so grateful for the new lease on life that this surgery has enabled. And I'm very grateful for all the encouragement and support from those on this forum.
