Hello All,

I am new to this forum, but have been following it for a LONG TIME!!! I am friends w/ Michael P and have been telling him I was going to post here eventually. So here goes:

High 346 November 2010
Surgery 326 December 2010
Today 201

It has been one amazing trip, to say the least. As noted, I have lost a total of 145 pounds. I have gone from a pant size of 46 to a comfortable 34; Shirt size of 3X to L; Shorts 3X to L and the list of clothing changes could be endless. I had a one year follow up at Tufts Hospital where I had surgery on 12/27/10 and my doc was very happy w/ my progress, as am I.

I do struggle at times as I now realize the surgery and the internal changes are a tool to help me in my journey of weight control. I strive each day to drink 64 oz water, exercise, and eat mindfully. The water and exercise are going great, sometimes the mindful eating can be a challenge. Since surgery I have had some dumping, but have also eaten some things not recommended like sweets and carbs. Still, I take it a day at a time as I know this is a Marathon, not a sprint.

Looking forward to continued support and discussion with a great bunch of Losers!!!

Best,
Bill

Hey Fellas! Sorry for the long time apart. Im still pissed from the Falcons quick exit from the playoffs. But anyway, I have been doing great! I have my treadmill and resistance band home gym system going 5 times a week. Im still a bit scared to eat that much bc i fear gagging and vomitting. My wife is pushing me to eat more than yogurt and string cheese every day. lol But overall im feeling great. I am down 6 pants sizes also! I put them on and was shocked i was able to put them on with extra room. I havent been that low since highschool. I found a consignment store near my school. they have slacks 3 bucks and polo shirts 1 buck! i even found some name brands there that looked very decent. SO im not that sad about the clothes situation. Overall, im still just enjoying seeing the scale go down each week when i step on it.
