Can we talk BCS game and NFL playoffs??

Thought we could get a thread going on the playoffs and BCS.  The last game between LSU and UA was so boring...I don't know if I want to sit though another...A ton of ads and a defensive struggle.  With teams like Stanford, Wisconsin, Oregon, and Oklahoma State you have this wide open brand of football...Very entertaining.  I just don't want to see 5 field goals this time.
Also I have a bad feeling about the 49ers on Saturday.  Most 49er fans (at the start of the season) would be happy with an 8 and 8 season...Even a winning season would be a bonus.  New Orleans looks mighty tough.  Had to work so didn't see the Denver game...Will just look at the highlights.  Any football thoughts??

Very happy about the Rose Bowl game with the Oregon Ducks. I thought that was a great game.

Don't really follow the pro games. But, I am partial to the 49ers. As far as the Bronchos, I'm so sick and tired of Tebow. Sure, he's got talent but someone needs to slap him up the side of the head and work on his PR skills.

Geaux Tigers!

Since the Cowboys are out, yet once again, I'll back the "other" Texas team from down south.  Go Texans!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Since my Seahawks are done and the Syracuse football team is not going anywhere any time soon, I have moved on to NCAA hoops where the Orange are #1 in both polls. I will however still watch the NFL playoffs through the SB, but will probably no****ch the BCS game tonight.

How about that last Seahawks game against Arizona?

HAHAHA I was there. A bright day on a boring season.

So what's wrong with Tebow taking a knee?
He almost gets as much attention as the dog killer. Not quite.

I do get tired of news casters calling a overtime win a "miracle"
Just guessing God doesn't care if the Broncos or Steelers advance.

Do I dare bring up the NE Patriots?  I don't follow sports much and am not one to jump on the bandwagon but it does feel good when "your" teams do well. Best of luck to whichever team you are rooting for.  Brian

Looking forward to watching the Pats play the Broncos Saturday night!!  Hopefully we won't spot the Broncos more than 21 points in the first quarter like we did against Buffalo...  Looking forward to it!! I like watching Tebow play but will be happy to see him lose this Saturday!!

this is kind of interesting and a bit spooky:

The fact that Tebow had 316 yards passing and averaged 31.6 yards per pass in the game didn't escape notice on Sunday night. Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here's one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6.

(John 3:16 reads: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.")
