hello guys, I just want to say hello, tell a little bit about my story and ask for any advice.
I started dieting, without any kind of surgery, on July 4, 2010. I was 128 kg, or 282 pounds.(my height is 1.65 m, I am 40 Years old.)
I gradually lost weight, going down to 89 kg, or(196 pounds).
I was also exercising by walking 4 km or around 2 miles per day, and I was going on and off with Exercising in a gym. Some events happen to me in October 2011, which led me to gain back 4 kg(around 9 pounds). I had stopped the strict Atkins diet, and stopped exercising. This weight incredibly as may seem came back really fast. But because I had put so much energy into losing the weight I did not want to return to become obese again. I really want to lose another 20 Kilograms(around 45 pounds) so I can look thin feel better and more energetic.
So seeing That abrupt Weight Gain, I decided to go back to what I was doing before. I started my strict Atkins diet, whi*****ludes substituting some of my food with protein shakes, and I'm going again back to the gym. I see that my weight is going down again slowly and last three days of lost half a kilogram or 1 pound.
it seems that I have to be very very careful, as any diversion immediately puts on the pounds for me.
What are you are experiences of this phenomena, what advice can you give me, what types of exercise should I be doing more?
There is something else that is very Important for me. It is the lack of energy I feel all the time tired and then I need to drink something with caffeine or take some pain killers, or both, so I can be normal and do the tasks that I need to do. If I go to the gym, afterwards I feel very tired, even though I'm not pushing myself that much, so doing productive work is a little bit hard.
It seems that I always had a problem with energy, which I really need to crack this mystery so I can go forward with my plans for life which are many. Thank you for any input you may have, it is so the connections of people through networks and forums like this which power can be obtained from the collection of many minds.

Great job on the dieting. A few thoughts. Add some potassium rich foods to your diet; bananas, broccoli, oranges, yogurt, spinach. Many many years being on the Atkins can do a number on your kidneys...be careful. Be sure to get some of the color of the rainbow in fruits and vegetables...Don't go hog wild on the fruits...but some. Add some salt to your diet...Not a lot...a small amount...Could help with the energy. Know the signs of dehydration...Look them up. Your muscles can only store about 3 weeks of glycogen...It holds on to it, then will dump it (weightloss)...Keep doing what your doing and the weight should come off. Burning fat is not as energy efficient...It takes more energy than burning carbs. Brian PS Muscle weighs more than fat...As you keep working out in the gym you should look leaner...A tape measure would help.

hello water water water and more water. most fat people don't drink enough water I was one of them I drank Coffee until it was poring out my ears. then my dietitian told me for every cup of coffee drink I have to drink 2 8 oz bottle of water to make up the lose of the caffeine....as far as the lack of energy that will get better as the weight coms off.I found out after i started all this that I had a small depression problem and was put on anti depressant and most of that went away.. but keep up the good work and good luck
