Back home from surgery
Hey fellas. Just sending an update from my surgery on Tuesday. I'm feeling good. Slight pain. I farted this morning and I sharted this evening lol. But I'm feeling good I still need to order a scale to measure but I did see I lost 8 lbs on the pet op diet Can't wait to see results soon. I walked 20 laps at the hospital too. It helped so much to get the gas out. So I'll post on Christmas day my progress. Take care guys
A lot of boring stuff the next few weeks...Walk, sip, rest, repeat. Sleep when and where you can...Use pillows in creative ways to get comfortable. The pain near your bellybutton is where they put the camera...That's why it hurts more than the other sites. They spray a lot of air in and around the pouch to look for leaks. In about 5-10 day that discomfort should end. You probably won't be able to get in all your protein and water. Your doctor know this...Just try and do your best and you should be OK. Enjoy the ride. Brian
Congrats on your surgery Rickie.
The "oil slicks" are very common early out. TFN figure on some "ED" as well. Not that "ED" but explosive diarrhea!
ETA: See you you are from near the ATL. Get a chance go to Rock City at Lookout Mountain and go down the trail to the "Fat Man Squeeze" formation. You may not be able to do it now but in time it will be a great FART here and a personal head rush to go through there.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I hope you have a swift recovery. Good luck on your journey. I will be joining you fellas on the loser bench soon.
