Highest weight: 428
Surgery weight 11/3/11:  386
last week: 356
today:  352
Loss : -4#

Another 4 pound week. I'll take it.
Got my first fill yesterday and totally protected me from two major parties. Fluids/protein drinks only.
Gotta love family though. They are all together, and not a single person has noticed my 76 pound weight loss. I mean common, I know I'm still way overweight, but hell ... 76 pounds!!
and not a word.

Welcome to the loser's bench Roy. And Matt, I'm doing my best to make more room for you.

I have found that I get a bigger reaction out of co-workers that I really don't know well or don't see very often than I do with family.  Kind of strange but as you said, 76 pounds is an amazing accomplishment.  They'll all be noticing soon enough!!  Keep it up!!

Hi everyone,  I had my RNY at UMass on November 21st.  I will be 4 weeks on Monday.  I have been following your journey's for a few months now and figured it was time to introduce myself.   I have to say I have been inspired by each of your postings.   Here are my stats:

361  Highest weight April 2011
341 Surgery weight November 21
315 Todays weight

46 lbs total weight loss
26 lbs since surgery

I have been in the dreaded week 3 stall but I am patient and hope it will break soon.   I have not been back to the gym yet as my Dr has said to wait until week 6. So walking is my exercise of choice for now.

Thanks,  Lee

Welcome Lee! Oh man, don't worry at all about a stall at week 3. You may not want to look at the scale except for once a week as it will make you crazy with ups and downs. You will by in hyper weight loss mode for the next few months. Hang on and get ready for the ride of your life!!

Thanks Mike.  Before surgery I told myself that I would weigh myself once every couple of weeks.  Yeah, well I feel like a crack addict that is always looking for that next fix, that new high!!!!   Finally after all these years where I said I hated it.....I now admit it.....I am in love with my scale.  Now I just have to break the news to the wife!

Lee,

Howdy from down South and you have morphed into a "scale *****"!  Happens to the best of us.  I may weigh daily but only track what happens on Sundays.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
