6 Years and less than a week after I had mine, my brother goes in today.  His issues have been a lot more severe than mine and I pray that he comes through alright.  It's almost easier doing it yourself than watching someone you love go through the process.

If you are the type who prays, some directed to Daryl in Port Jervis, NY would be appreciated.  If not some good vibes would be just as appreciated.

Prayers sent to your brother and family. (and his surgeon!)
I wish my brother could get some insurance that would allow him a surgery.
He needs to beat the alcohol bug first.
At least your bro has someone like you that has blazed ther trail successfully for him.
Keep us informed.

Wish my brother would make a decision toward having bariatric surgery of some sort but he is afraid too.  Turns 55 soon, is on BP and oral diabetes meds, starting to have trouble with his lower extremities and frankly I'm afraid I'll be the one to find him deceased at his residence and have to tell our Mother he had passed.  But as the saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Good look to your brother Daryl!  Do you have another brother Daryl?  (little reference there to the former Bob Newhart Show in which he played the owner of a little hotel and 2 of the 3 local handy men were brothers named Daryl)

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
