1yr SURGIVERSARY!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

 well today is my 1yr Surgiversary!!!!! one year ago i had Gastric Bypass Surgery &I was scared to death. I never thought that i would make it through all the battles i had ahead of me.At my Highest weight i was 544 pounds, I was 520 pounds in March of 2010 when i started this adventure. I was 457 lbs when i went in for surgery. Today i weighed in at 245 lbs. To this day i am still in the SHOCK & AWE stages of my new life. But everything is going great and i cant wait to see what this next year will bring my way. Below is a list of things that i have been able to do since my surgery that i could do before. But before you read that i would like to mention one thing.   I would & could not have done this without the support of first of all my wife Crissy & my Kids JEffrey & Montana & my sister Elaine. They put up with alot of **** throught the years and my goal is too make life a little easier for them in the future, 2nd i would like to thank all of my friends for being there for me & supporting me through all of this, not once did i hear "you took the easy way out" cause trust me it wasnt easy. You all mean alot to me and i am glad to have you all around & i am glad that i will be able to have you all as my friends for many more years now.I also would like to thank all of you guys here on the forum. your support means the world to me   Highest weight-544 March 2010    -520 Surgery weight-457 As of today   -245     climbed a mountain Mt Major played baseball played softball flew in a plane without being squished drove a small car wen****er tubing play with my kids ran a 5k started hunting again can sleeo in my bed again went to the red sox game without sweating from walking around Went from a 5X shirt to an XL shirt bought jeans 30 sizes smaller then before went back to work after being out for 9 yrs on disability I can drive long distances without falling asleep  No MORE SLEEP APNEA NO MORE WATER PILLS NO MORE DIABETES NO MORE WATER RETENTION     Thanks again to everyone for your support

Congratulations Jeff!!!!

I know how you are feeling. As someone in our support group said "Weight Loss Surgery has added years to my life and life to my years."

It just keeps getting better!!!!

Congrats Jeff. I love seeing posts like this as they show me that if I just keep after it I will get to my goal in due time.

 That is awesome Jeff.   You have and continue to do amazing.  You have always been one of my inspirations on this forum and I am amazed at how well you've done.  What a feeling, huh?  Glad to see that life is no longer passing you by...  I LOVE IT ALL!!
