Hey mike looks like it might be time for some new duds.  Isn't it AWESOME to be able to shop at a regular store.  Keep up the great work!!!

Finally the construction season is starting to wind down in MN.  Still not getting to the gym enough need to try and improve on it.  Not perfect on the diet, but almost perfect avoiding sugar and white starches.  Yes I did have 2 mini's at Halloween, but not bags better than past years.

Went up north  to help out another plant 6 hours away and the plant manager there didn't even recognize me. That was pretty kewl:)

I picked up some new duds and I'm down to xl pants and 2x shirts. Pretty fricken amazing considering I wore 5-6xl clothes 10 months ago:)

Have a great week everyone!!

I hear you Dave.  I didn't realize how baggy my clothes are starting to look and those are only a month old!!  It is amazing to be shopping in a regular store.  Glad to hear things are going well and the weight loss continues.  Keep up the good work.

I'm still holding on to the 200's , they just wont let me go. I've started a different work out routine and hopefully it's working. I have also started drinking a ton more of water, Many times  I noticed I think i'm hungry, when i'm actually just thirsty.  Hopefully within the next month i can get into the 190's

So the GOOSE EGG WEEK. I haven't hit a stall in some time so I have a sneaking suspicion that I am in the start of my second one. Still feel great minus the flu I am getting over. Biggest change I have noticed, and I'm not happy about it, I GET COLD. Don't think I have actually been cold in 15 years. I actually have to wear a coat and gloves now. I guess shedding a standard sized 5'5" woman's worth of weight in a few months allows the cold through a bit easier. Now I know why I never see trim polar bears or svelt walruses. It's G D cold. Ok. My rant is done. Gonna go toss on another pair of socks.

So that is 5.6 pounds lost this week!!  Very little actual exercise but lots of 'work' at my church lifting, moving and such getting ready for the bazaar and at the bazaar itself.

Bought my first set of 46" pants this week!  Down 3 pant sizes.

Hi everyone! This week hasn't been so bad. The scales are still headed in the right direction, slowly, but still in the right direction. I don't know why but I just can't motivate myself to get my ass to the gym. I work the overnight shift and I have a very physical job. By the time I am done with my 11 hour shift I am just dead tired. I know I need to do more and get in the gym. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I hope everyone is well and keep up the great work!

Highest weight 391

Surgery weight 387. 5/23/2011

Last weeks weight 265

This weeks weight 262

Weight loss for the week. 3 pounds

I'm happy with the progress but I know it could be better if I get in the gym...

Hi Guys. Thanks for all the great encouraging comments and stories. It is really super to see all of you here. I have been having a really good time with the exception that my blood sugars are in my boots. Since I had my surgery my meds have dropped from six metformin a day down to one or two. My insulin has dropped from 120 units each night to only 25 units. And sometimes that is too much.
I found myself having to go to the hospital on Sunday morning. It turns out that I had either a kidney stone or kidney infection. So now everyone who was telling me to take it easy over the past week are going "I told you so." This frustrates the hell out of me because I have so much energy that I want to get moving.

Have a great week guys,
Blake
