surgery jitters
Well Gee, Mike, thanks for asking.
I've only had my Ipad available to me and I can't seem to get it to let me post.
Now I'm back on line. Thanks for the support (and the PM Charlie). It really helped, and i will hang around here to cheer others on in the future.
You all were, of course, correct - everything went well.
Mild pain, and learning to sip seem to be the two biggest hurdles at this time.
I find it very hard to not gulp water, and have learned that this is the "secrete" of WLS.
It forces you to pay attention to every bite or sip that you put in your mouth.
I've been walking the neighborhood, and its OK.
I am anxious to get the go-ahead to workout like i did 200 pounds ago.I'm very aware of my need to start low and go slow, but I have, for the first time in years, a tiny pin-point of light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm trying to get the Ticker thing to work and will keep it updated.
I give everyone here permission to give me a swift e-kick in the ass if you think I'm slacking. I can never have enough accountability.
So, once again, thanks for making room for another on the loser's bench.
Let's roll!
