First cold post surgery. Finding with less of me, longer time to bounce back. I always had enough insulation and mass to power through and just keep going. This one dropped me hard. Couldn't go to work every day, luckily I can work from home if I have to. It's been a full week and it's not gone yet. I hope that as I level out this will balance out. I guess with all the changes this is to be expected...

Had a great time riding in Moab.  I fit really good in the Polaris RZR.  The seat belt even latched!!  Today is my 44th Birthday and I have not weighed 289 since I was probably 24!

Still having issues with most foods, but a good friend of mine who had RNY last year just told me to concentrate on getting the proteins and not worry about trying different foods. She said, "drink the shakes if you need to, just get the protein in".  I figure thats good advice.

One thing thats strange is that I figured I would have a lot more energy by now.  I really don't and that is starting to worry me a bit.  Anyone have any ideas?

Take care all,

Bill

The energy level will come back...But it takes awhile.  One week I lost 10 pounds...Talk about draining.  A few idea in no special order.  bananas (if you can handle them...Test everything first), cooked spinach (with salt), yogurt, and broccoli.  All of these have potassium which may help.  A small amount of salt too.  Again know the signs of dehydration...
