I DID IT (5k in 5 days)

What a great morning outside (39 degrees with the sun coming up) to do my 5K in 5 day challenge. I read about people doing the couch to 5k challenge and me being me while on the hamster wheel at Snap i thought I should up it to 5k in 5 days challenge. I sat in bed this morning and that little bad part of the brain was telling me to take the day off and not work out, thankfully the right side of brain won out and  YES I DID IT!!!  The time 48 minutes wasn't world class, but I didn't stop. If you would of told me on the 1 year anniversary of starting optifast to qualify for laproscopic RNY that I would be able to do a 5k I would've laughed at you. Yup a little sore right now, but it was all worth it.

Thanks to all the Farters on here that share their stories and help motivate us to go for it!!!

 Congrats Buddy!!!! now the addiction to beat your time starts, i did a 5k last week & i am already signed up for another one on thanksgiving day....WOOHOO WTG!!!!
