So, today was my 30 day checkin. Turns out that I am healing perfectly. I am down 33 pounds since surgery exactly 30 days ago. Who would have thought I would lose 30+ pounds in only 30 days? That is way more than I could have ever expected!!! (I lost 40 lbs during the previous 7 months of Dr Supervised Dieting)

Thank GOD for leading to this point in my life. Thank my friends and family for supporting me along the way. Thank YOU GUYS for teaching me so much and answering my questions and supporting me as well.

I am now POSITIVE that I will succeed. Didn't really sink in until today when I was at the Dr. Up until then I was still worrying about how I was going to make this work. I have this BEAT! Just have to stick with it!

WOOO HOOO!!!!!!

Congratulations and enjoy your early success.  Now is the time to reinforce learning the new way to eat.  Try not to fall back into any old eating habits.  They are hard to break and you are in a grace period where you can both experience rapid weight loss and learn new habits without feeling hungry.

We'll deal with "head hunger" and stalls in the future because they will inevitably come.  Be positive and you can get past them.
