334 Today

Taking a half hour off from football to watch some 9/11 coverage.

Finally home after what seems like 5 weeks of running.   I had my first big stall (almost 4 weeks)and 5 pound regain end a week and a half ago.  I continued to follow my diet and exercise even though my weight wasn't changing.  When I jumped on the scale today i was down 14 pounds from 2 Sundays ago to 334.  Yes I think it's easy to doubt your tool, but it's pretty damn AWESOME to have this life changing event.  Sure is nice to get "noticed" when your out and about instead of the constant scrutiny of others.

Have a great week everyone!

Ten years ago I was an Air Force officer, my oldest son was a high school fresman, and his little brother was in seventh grade.  Now I am a retired old fart, and they are both lieutenants in the US Army - the oldest has been in Baghdad for 10 months as a platon leader with nearly 200 missions under his belt.  How the world has changed.

My stats are below - just a bit over 3 pound this week, so things are picking back up.  My back injury is on the mend, so I am upping the exercise bit by bit.  I am now almost out of my "early" fat clothes, so I will have to start buying in a week or so.
All Time High Weight - 370
Starting Weight pre-WLS - 367.4
Surgery Weight - 333
Current Weight - 248
Surgery Date - July 6, 2011

Yeah, my clothes are starting to hang big time (so to speak) I'm holding out for another month till its jeans time-the one's in winter storage probably not a good fit now.  My work shirts are all 4x and they're starting to look like a dress on me. Went to dinner last nite with the wife and the dress shirts I shoved in the back of the closet 'cause they were replaced with bigger ones are useable again- even a bit baggy. I guess I just FART-ed!!

353: This week

Lost 5 pounds this week. The extra exercise I have been doing is paying off. I am stating to get excited and nervous as I start my 2 week pre-op shake diet on Tuesday. After much deliberation with the wife we have decided that I am going to go ahead with the surgery on 9/27 with or without my employer's blessing. They still have not given me a decision either way.

Highest/Starting/Day of Surgery (9/27/11)/Current/Goal: 415/394/340/240/200

Good for you Cynergy if they can't care about you to give you a little time off for this then maybe there are better employers out there for you anyway.  It's an amazing journey!
