An unusual fart (at least for me it is)
Every afternoon I stop at the Starbucks by the office for a coffee, and usually the same friendly young woman is at the window. I always order the same thing, just regular brewed coffee.
Today, the crew made an error leaving a perfectly good large mocha frappacino (if that's how it's spelled) unneeded for the car ahead of me. When I arrived at the window, the clerk asked if I'd like to try it for free since it was a mistake anyway.
I told her it sounded good ... And it did, with the whipped cream and all that sugar, but I told her I really couldn't. She looked at me and said, "is that how you keep your thin figure?" I smiled and responded, "I'm trying, but don't know how well I'm doing sometimes." she smiled back and said, "it looks like you're doing real good at it to me."
An innocent enough semi flirt, which is strange enough. But, the fact that someone sees me as thin is hard to believe. I've yet to come to terms with the fact that I am very close to 190 after having lived most of my life much much heavier.
I sometimes wonder if I will ever expect to see this thinner body when I look in the mirror. I like it, but it still kind of freaks me out sometimes.
By the way, I bought a sIze large shirt today. First of those in god knows how long. By the way, I was in a 6X at my largest. And it looks like the next jeans will be a (drum roll) 36. Un-effing-believable.
