Ken,

Lost a little bit more than 130 pounds when I lost the GF.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Slow weight loss week.  Not sure why.  Only about 2.5 lbs, but it seemed like more.  My exercise was limited due to a back injury, so that may explain it.  Still, averaging about 5 a week since surgery, which is promising.
All Time High Weight - 370
Starting Weight pre-WLS - 367.4
Surgery Weight - 333
Current Weight - 248
Surgery Date - July 6, 2011

195: Into Wonderland 5/6/11
180: 30 pounds from goal 6/10/11
169: Within 20 pounds of goal 6/29/11
159:Didn't lose any weight  but still  Within 10 pounds of my goal. 8/7/11
152: Within TWO pounds of goal. 8/21/11
As I stated two weeks ago I wasn't discouraged by lack of loss that week as I tend to  lose in bunches. I am now over six months since surgery and two pounds within my artificial goal of 150 (good round number). FYI I am only 5'5 . I would like to lose about another 15 pounds to get to ideal BMI and I do believe I will get there as I continue to exercise and avoid bread, rice, and pasta. According to my surgeon's program I could begin to reintroduce whole grain bead and pasta now but I would like to wait until I reach my goal weight. I bought a mat and workout gloves and have added soem core exercises to my 6 days a week of treadmill with weights.

Maintaining my weight and loving the results. So far I’ve lost the combined equivalent of a 2-month old horse, a sperm whales brain, a chihuahua, and an ostrich egg. Don’t miss that combination a bit.

For Don, are we supposed to offer congratulations or consolences on the loss of a girlfriend?? Not sure what's appropriate. But, hopefully, you'll find something else to occupy your time and energy.

Late in posting this week as the weekend was a blur. My parents are in town from Florida for my daughters first birthday. I am down 6 pounds this week and below the 369 goal set by my doc for surgery sign-off. I go back on Friday for an official weigh-in and should be able to submit for final approval.

Highest/Starting/Day of Surgery (9/27/11)/Current/Goal: 415/394/340/240/200
