Huge Week for me. Did a lot of work around the house and loaded a 25 yard dumpster cleaning out the basement. I am almost 7 weeks out and will admit that it took all I had. I dont have the stamina I used to, but i did a few loads, rested, hydrated, and restarted... I am so proud of myself that I have taken to this as well as I have. 120 Grams of protein, almost no carbs, and a limit of 1200 calories, which I usually miss low by 3 to 400 a day... I am getting real close to my first century mark. You will all hear that one from where ever you are...

Thanks Guys. You are all brothers from another mother.

Oh and FART for the day. Had to use power tools to make a new notch in my belt cause I went through an entire belt in 3 and a half weeks... :-)

Way to go Lammy!!  I can smell those FARTs all the way over here in Taunton!!  Love how you had to use a power tool to make a new notch in your belt.  I always used a knife and did it the hard way.  I'll be using the drill next time!!

People are definately nicer, not your imagination.  At my job, I am going for the same position I went for 6 months ago and didnt get and was told I am now the front runner since I have shown true leadership by getting the surgery and losing weight.  And i will look better in front of customers.  Yeah HR Nightmare for them if I pushed it, but blackball in the industry if I do.  Just have to grin and bear it and realize people always look at the package rather than the contents.

Good to hear its not just in my imagination.  Glad to see that you are already reaping professional rewards in addition to your physical rewards.  What a wild ride we are all on!!  I love it!

All time high over 571 in July 2000--at that weight I didn't care how much I weighed axactly.  This Wed I weighed 350 which is exactly the same thing I weighed back in the end of May.  Considering my abysmal eating habits and indulgences, that's a miracle and not a stall.

I'm starting back on a modified carbo addicts diet today using the Beck Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook by Dr Judith Beck.  My wife will be my diet coach.  The actual diet comes from Food Addiction--The Body Knows by Kay Sheppard.  I used to buy into the notion that I had to stay off of my addictive foods but I can't  (not won't ) do that .  If I totally go addictive carb free, I eventually slip, can't handle it, and spin down into binge eating.  Conversely, my wife does not have a carb addiction, but she started a diabetic diet last summer when she found she had diabietes;  she proceded to lose 50 lbs.  She'll let me know how few carbs I can have as an evening snack.

I did use the Beck Diet Solution Workbook back in 2007 and lost 50 lbs between Jan and May.  Ideally, it's a 6 week course on modified thinking about dieting along with specific writing assignments.  However, when I finished the 6 weeks' course, I didn't know where to go for a regular follow-up instruction.  So, I'm starting back at the beginning.

Highest: 407 lb
Surgery: 5/17/10
Last week: 199.6 lb
This week: 196.4 lb
Loss this week: 3.2 lb
Total loss: 210.6

A good week at 3.2 lb. Although I only made the gym twice this week instead of 3 times, I have been working hard to stay more active. My "urinary workout" program is progressing...where I use the second floor restroom at work and use the stairs to get there.. After 10 days, I have moved up to the third floor restroom. At four times a day, two flights up and two down, I figure I have scaled an 80 story building by the end of the week. The issue here is that my office is in a three story building, so my next increase In steps will be to take the service ladder from the 3rd floor to the roof and pee off the side of the building! Oops.

Have a good week guys, and Don, maybe the best way to look at the loss of a girlfriend is to say you shed an additional 130 lbs....just a thought.

Pee off the side of the building...  ROFL   Then you could even spider man down the side of the building to get back to your desk...    Funny you said that about Don losing an extra 130 lbs this week.  I was thinking that exact thing when he said he gained weight!!
