It happened!

It happened! I reached my goal weight!  As of this morning, the scale read 200.0......that is down 146.5 pounds from the start of the WLS process and 123.5 pounds since surgery!

It has been amazing.  I know the fight is not over.....frankly, it has just begun.  I have lost weight before, many times!  The problem has always been keeping it off.  So that is the new frontier for me.

I feel GREAT!  I have energy, I can RUN....ran 3.3 miles this morning (on the treadmill), and I am just loving life.

I have gone from a size 48" waist to a 32-34" waist and from 2XL shirts (18 1/2" in neck - tight) to Large (15 1/2" - 16" neck - loose).

I am off all meds, except vitamins and allergy medication.  I don't use a cpap anymore.

I don't know what else to say except THANK YOU.  You have all been a continued inspiration to me and kep me grounded in reality.  I am leaving for vacation on Tursday to spend a week oon the Outer Banks, NC.....for the fisrt time EVER, I will feel good about wearing a bathing suit and not feeling like I need to wear a shirt!

All the best.  Keep working to keep each other honest!

Michael

Michael, You continue to inspire all of us. Congrats. Enjoy the vacation, and we'll be looking forward to hearing about how you had to fight 'em off at the beach.
