No change - again. It would be easy to get a bit discouraged at this point. Instead, I'm going back over my food log to see what I can learn. I've gotten a bit sloppy about carbs - started sneaking a few in here and there, but it adds up. It also looks like I've dropped my protein intake a bit - gotta work on that. But in general, I'm doing OK. With that, I'll make a few minor corrections, and see where it takes me. I've upped my workouts a good bit lately (more weight, elliptical trainer, and now swimming in addition to water-jogging) so that may have something to do with it. Just trust the program and keep doing what I'm supposed to do... It will work out.
Overall, I feel great. In talking to someone recently, it occurred to me that since I started doing the strength training, I haven't had a single back-ache - a daily occurrance before WLS. I just started using the elliptical machine at the gym, and I was able to stay on it for the full 30 minutes at a pretty good pace... According to the machine, I burned 450 calories in that 1/2 hour... And it felt like it. When I got off, my legs were rubbery, and I could not even conceive of how I would be able to complete my leg presses later in the workout. And yet when the time came, I did it. Feels good to push myself physically - and succeed!
Went flying again this week, and am now ready to fly on my own - where the learning really starts - LOL. It's always more "immediate" when there's not an instructor there to provide the "comfort factor"... Flew from Addison (Dallas area) down to Georgetown, TX (outside of Austin) with an instructor to learn the route and get the air traffic control routine down. It was 104 degrees on the ground, but only 78 up at 5,000 feet -- almost chilly up there! Everything went really well, despite a stronger-than-expected headwind that slowed us on the trip down, then sped us up on the return leg. Made it back in one piece, and had a great time. This is fun!

Jim, as the politicians say, "stay the course." these stalls are frustrating, but in the grand scheme of things they are only an issue if you allow them to become an excuse for changing your new routine. As we've heard many times, just continue to do things right and your results will catch up.
