This week's stats:
506.5: All time high 9/9/9 (WW start) - BMI = 63.3
492.4: Tufts Medical Center Program Start 9/20/10
462.5: Lap RNY Surgery day 2/7/11
359.0: Last Week 7/10/11
355.8: This Week 7/17/11 - 3.2 Lbs Lost this week - BMI = 44.5

136.6 lbs lost since starting the Tufts program.
150.7 lbs lost from my all time highest weight.

Lost another 3.2 lbs this week so I am very happy with that after not losing anything during vacation last week.  I am feeling a lot thinner and have noticed a huge difference in all my clothes and just feeling thinner in general.  What a feeling!

Did much better on my diet this week. Didn't have any adult beverages which were the crux of my downfall last week during vacation. Had a rough time getting to the gym this week as my wife was out of town a couple of days so I was playing Mr. Mom amidst working my regular schedule and getting back into the swing of things after vacation just took a lot out of me. I finally got to the gym on Friday and Saturday and am feeling much better about it. I have to cover a work shift today so doesn't leave me much "me" time but will see if I can squeak in an hour of the gym at the end of the day. Anyway I'll be making an effort to get to the gym more often next week.

Actually made it to the Cape Cod Canal to fish for Stripers for the past two Saturday nights and it was great. FIshing with my family and dad so it was very nice. We didn't catch anything but had a good number of hits so it made it fun. Really beautiful there and lets you just get back to what is important in life and not really worry about anything. We have plans for the next four Saturdays so hopefully we can make it back again in August... I guess the stripers are really active in late August in the canal so am looking forward to that.

Well, time to go get psyched up for work!! UGGH! Oh well, at least I get paid for it. My best to everyone and hope you have a great week!

I'll put the numbers in tomorrow when I get home to my scales but did want to mention a FART, or two, from this weekend!  Lady friend and I went to Schlitterbond Water Park in Galveston, TX Friday.  For the first time in my nearly 50 years of living I went to one of those places.  Good day for it since it was cloudy and rainy meant no sun burn.  We spent most of the day in the "Lazy River" floating along and going through the various simulated rapids and waves it had.

During a break from the floating I got to looking at one of them big, tall ass, straight down water slides.  Well, my light ass may have skipped like a flat rock three or four times in the water at the end of the slide but I did it!

Hey Don, I can smell those all the way up here in Massachusetts.  Fantastic and I love it.  I recently got my much thinner ass into a go cart and a bumper boat a week back during vacation.  I am still 6' 3"" so they are tight lengthwise but was able to drive and had a blast.  Crazy, liberating feeling to no longer be banished to the sidelines of life.  I love this trip!!  Again, great FARTs!

Highest Weight: 310 lbs
Surgery Weight: 300 lbs (on 08 Oct 10)
Last Week’s Weight: 186 lbs
Current Weight: 190 lbs ???

Total Loss: 120 lbs (from highest weight)
Total Post-Surgery Loss: 110 lbs
Weekly Difference: +4 lbs ???

I’m still on the road for work and the hotel gym shows me at about 190 lbs (my personal goal weight). Not sure how accurate the scales are but I suspect I’ve added a couple of pounds. The pants aren’t as loose as a couple weeks ago.

Last Sunday I climbed to the top of Multnomah Falls. It was moderately steep hike with 11 switchbacks. There is no way I could have done this a year ago. My ankles and knees were a little stiff the next day but that didn’t diminish my feeling of accomplishment.

That looks like a beautiful place and a nice hike. And, if you had been too tired to walk down, there is always the old barrel over the falls thing.

Was nice to get all the you look great comments from people you dont see that often.  Now a weekend away from all the small town drama next weekend. Wow it's stinking hot here heat index 115 this week....ICKY

Have a great week everyone!!!!

Highest: 407lb

Surgery: 5/14/10

Last Week: 206.8 lb

This week: 203.8 lb

Loss this week: 3.0 lb

Total loss: 203.2 lb.

I am now about half a pound from saying that I dropped half of my body weight. What has happened in the past year still amazes me. at times, it was a ***** of a year, but it's been really worthwhile.

Today is my 56th birthday, and I feel better than I have in probably 20 years. I am healthier and more active. And, did I mention happier? I bought myself a gift today, a new matress to replace the old one that had a big indentation from my big ole body in it. I'm looking forward to sleeping outside of the "mattress hole" I had dug for myself. I cooked a big dinner for my two grown kids, two grandkids, on son in law, ex-wife and new significant other yesterday (an odd combo, I know, but we are both friendly with the other's ex). Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, bread, cranberries and birthday cake for desert. I was able to control myself well, while still enjoying the meal with family. That was a nice feeling. It's important to me that no one else should feel awkward because my diet is different. I don't feel restricted, and I don't want them to behave as if I am.

Enough rambling from me. You get the picture, it was a nice weekend and I am old as sin.

Have a good week boys.
