140 lbs lost

Well guys, it has been some time since I've posted here. About 4 months in fact. I've been out living my life, but I've noticed my weight has been bouncing around like crazy. Probably need more accountability so I'm recommitting to the weekly weigh in.

Have a great week!

Don, Nice to see your weight headed in the right direction this week. After having gone through the weight roller coaster so many times through the years, I am also paranoid about bouncing back. Actually, I am probably more paranoid of not caring if I bounce bac****asionally, maybe we all need a week like yours last week to keep us focused. I am convinced the key is continuing to care and never giving up. ken

RNY on 11/02/10 with
411 - Starting weight (10/01/10)
377 - 11/02/10 (RNY Surgery - 34 lbs during pre-op phase)
350 - 11/28/10 (1 month surgiversary - 61 lbs, 27 for the month)
331 - 01/02/11 (2 month surgiversary - 80 lbs, 19 for the month)
319 - 02/02/11 (3 month surgiversary - 92 lbs, 12 for the month)
302 - 03/02/11 (4 month surgiversary - 109 lbs, 17 for the month)
294 - 04/02/11 (5 month surgiversary - 117 lbs, 8 for the month)
288 - 05/01/11 (6 month surgiversary - 123 lbs, 6 for the month)
278 - 06/02/11 (7 month surgiversary - 133 lbs, 10 for the month)
275 - 07/02/11 (8 month surgiversary - 136 lbs, 3 for the month)
275 - 07/10/11 (down 136 lbs)

Still "stalled" at 275.  Technically, the weight is from Saturday, because Sunday I was fighting an intestinal bug and never even throught about weighing...  Guess it's an "official" stall, since it's been a month now.  Funny, because I can still see physical changes that let me know I'm losing fat, even though the weight isn't changing.  Sigh.  Guess I'm spoiled by not really ever being stalled before...

Rough week at work, getting ready for a major review with senior executives who almost (but not quite) understand what I'm doing, and need to be "carried" through the process while thinking they are "guiding" the process.  Politics are not my strong suit, and as many of you know, after WLS your "BS quotient" goes WAAY down...  I pray that I can get through this week with my sanity intact!
