It's been a minute since I posted.....5 years out!

I don't recognize anyone on the board, not that it really matters, we're all brothers after all. For those who don't know me, I started at 352 pounds back in August 2006. It took about 18 months to drop to 209 pounds. I'm now hovering in the 250's. I'm not super happy about that weight and I'm doing something about it. I've already lost about 8 pounds in the last few weeks. The RNY advantage really helps, even after all this time.

Otherwise, I'm finishing up my education degree. I've been substitute teaching for a few years, I'm really looking forward to having a classroom I can call my own. I'm starting a master's as soon I finish the bachelor's.

P.S. I rarely think of my weight anymore, at least not as much as before surgery. NEW GUYS: The surgery will change your life for the better. All the sacrifices are totally worth it.

Hey Ron...It's been awhile.  You are remembered.  We had surgery about the same time.  I too had the bounce back...25 pounds...Not cool.  But you are right it is eaiser to loose the weight post RNY...No hunger pains for me.  Just that not full feeling that drives you crazy!!
