Did anyone here take androgel or any other testosterone supplement prior to surgery. Did your need for it change after surgery?

Just curious

Androderm before and after no change. Oh, and it's working well, thank you.

Hey, I know it's been a while but i just noticed your post.  I use Androgel, but I'm only one month out.  I can tell you that my doctor said that he bets that I will at least be able to reduce my dosage after i drop most of my weight and might be able to drop it all together.  He said that overweight me produce tend to produce extra estrogen and that inhibits testosterone.  Also, hormones actually are store a little in fat so as your fat melts away, both hormones get released.  Once you've lost most of your weight, you need to be retested and see if you still need it or if you can lower your dosage.
