Highest Weight: 310 lbs
Surgery Weight: 300 lbs (on 08 Oct 10)
Last Week’s Weight: 188 lbs
Current Weight: 186 lbs

Total Loss: 124 lbs (from highest weight)
Total Post-Surgery Loss: 114 lbs
Weekly Difference: -2 lbs

I’m eating almost “normal" food but in much smaller portions. However, the weight is still coming off. Love handles are almost gone but there still seems to be some jiggles around the stomach. I can feel the muscles beneath but there seems to be a layer of fat.

Pre-op loss: 24 lbs.
VSG Surgery 11/24 - 6.5 mos. ago
Total weight loss so far - 143 lbs. (32 more to reach goal wt.)
Methodology:  Work hard (exercise); eat right (log every bite) and be consistent (no days off)
Mostly, I walk, walk, walk - min. of 3 rapid miles in my hilly neighborhood daily - except when I'm walking the golf course (that's 7+ miles) which I do 2 or 3 times per week now.
Also lost diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and I'm off all Rx meds.  Hooray for me - at 65, "sleevie" and I are adding more fun years to my retirement.

331 - 01/02/11 (2 month surgiversary - 80 lbs, 19 for the month)
319 - 02/02/11 (3 month surgiversary - 92 lbs, 12 for the month)
302 - 03/02/11 (4 month surgiversary - 109 lbs, 17 for the month)

288 - 05/01/11 (6 month surgiversary - 123 lbs, 6 for the month)
278 - 06/02/11 (7 month surgiversary - 133 lbs, 10 for the month)
275 - 06/19/11 (down 136 lbs)

Kinda "stuck" around 275 for for a while.  Probably as a result of returning to exercise following the 3-week layoff for the umbilical hernia surgery.  At least it's not a gain, right?  Plan is to keep hitting the gym for 2 hours at least 4X per week, and trying to eat right.

On a brighter side, we're going to visit my daughter (and grandbaby) this coming weekend!  Still having to drive, because I'm not quite ready to be signed off in the airplane.  When that happens, you guys better hold your breath for a while, cause that FART is going to STING!

Didn't think I ate as good this week, but the scale continues to drop at it's "normal" pace.  I did have a smidge tootsie roll and no dumping.  Had a lot of fun out fishing a couple days this weekend and was able to give a bunch of fillets away too.  Played in a bags tourney on Saturday and was nice not to be the biggest guy there anymore. Back at the weight I graduated at now onto places unknown for me:)

Have a great week everyone!
